Salah is not sidetracked by discussions about contracts - Slot
Mohamed Salah expressed disappointment that he had not been offered a new contract, but manager Arne Slot emphasized that he is still focused on his performance.

Mohamed Salah, who has publicly expressed his disappointment at not receiving a formal offer of a new contract, is "not distracted" by Liverpool's present contract situation, according to manager Arne Slot.
Following his two goals on Sunday afternoon in Liverpool’s 3-2 victory over Southampton, Salah gave a rare interview to the media, which caused controversy.
"Well, we are almost in December and I haven't received any offers yet to stay in the club, [so] I'm probably more out than in," Salah told reporters on Sunday.
"We want his numbers to be where they are. I don't think he is distracted. I haven't seen it. He is just fully focused on the game. These things are in the media and fans talk about it, but the players don't. I don't think there is any distraction for him or the players." said Slot
Slot added further, “If you would have been at the Axa [training ground] today, I don’t think any player spoke about it, at least not when I was there”
