Paul Belmondo celebrates son Giacomo's 28th birthday

Paul Belmondo and his former partner Luana Belmondo have publicly shared birthday wishes for their youngest son, Giacomo, who turned 28 on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Despite their divorce, both parents took to social media to mark the occasion, with Paul posting black and white photographs and Luana sharing a message in both French and Italian.

Why is this trending in France?

The interest stems from the high profile of the Belmondo family, which is currently in the public eye due to the opening of a major exhibition dedicated to the late actor Jean-Paul Belmondo. The coincidence of Giacomo's birthday falling on the same day the exhibition opened to the public has drawn further attention to the family's recent activities.

What is the family connection to the exhibition?

The exhibition, titled "Belmondo, Le Magnifique," serves as a tribute to the cinema icon who died in 2021. Held at the Cinémathèque française in Paris, the event saw family members, including Paul Belmondo, Natty Tardivel, and Stella Belmondo, attend a private vernissage on October 5, 2026, before the public opening two days later.

What is confirmed and what is not?

It is confirmed that both parents acknowledged the birthday on their social media platforms. While the family has been active in promoting the exhibition, details regarding any private family gatherings or further events associated with the birthday celebration were not available at the time of writing.
