Record Store Day Black Friday 2026: What to Expect

Record Store Day Black Friday will take place on November 27, 2026, with over 180 exclusive vinyl titles set to be released at independent music shops. The event, which serves as an extension of the annual spring Record Store Day, aims to drive customers to local retailers by offering limited-edition material that is either unreleased, previously unavailable in the format, or out of print.

What to expect from the 2026 lineup

This year's selection includes a wide variety of artists spanning multiple genres. Notable inclusions for the 2026 edition feature Noah Kahan, Katseye, Sombr, and Bruce Springsteen. Other titles confirmed for the event include music from Iron Maiden, Kreator, Mötley Crüe, Carcass, Motörhead, Rainbow, and Skid Row. Additional releases include archival material such as a 1971 live recording from Funkadelic and a 1974 Bill Withers performance.

Why this is trending in United Kingdom

The search volume for this event in the United Kingdom reflects interest in the global release schedule and the availability of these specific limited-edition vinyl records at local independent retailers. The notes do not explain specific local trends, and this interest is part of a wider international anticipation for the semiannual event.

What is confirmed and what is not

It is confirmed that the event date is November 27, 2026, and that over 180 exclusive titles will be available. However, details regarding specific stock allocations for individual stores in the United Kingdom were not available at the time of writing. Some stores have previously expressed concerns regarding profitability and distribution, though the event remains a fixture for independent retailers.
