Yakiniku King Lucky Bag 2027: How to Get the Humidifier

Yakiniku King, the popular Japanese barbecue chain, has officially launched its 2027 Lucky Bag lottery, sparking significant interest online due to the inclusion of an original, non-for-sale humidifier. As of November 4, 2026, customers can apply for the limited-edition set through the official app or the company's website.

Why it is trending now

The announcement has gained attention on social media, with many users expressing excitement for the unique contents of the bag. The primary draw is the original humidifier, which is part of a five-item exclusive merchandise set designed to accompany 6,000 yen worth of restaurant coupons.

Key facts

• The Lucky Bag is priced at 5,000 yen (tax included), with a limit of one per person.
• The set includes 6,000 yen in coupons (12 tickets worth 500 yen each), valid at all Yakiniku King locations.
• In addition to the humidifier, the bag contains a meat-patterned PP cross bag, a logo mini charm, kitchen-use "I-Wrap" plastic bags, and scented bath salts.
• The application period runs from November 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM until November 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
• Winners will be notified starting December 1, 2026, and must collect their bags between December 25, 2026, and January 5, 2027.

Why this is trending in Japan

The trend reflects the high level of consumer interest in "fukubukuro" (lucky bags) from major restaurant chains in Japan. The inclusion of unconventional, branded home goods like a humidifier has generated buzz among fans who value the utility and novelty of the items alongside the restaurant discount coupons.

Background and context

Yakiniku King has structured this release as a pre-order lottery system to manage demand. Applicants must select a specific store for pick-up at the time of entry. If a winner fails to collect their bag during the designated period, the order is automatically cancelled, with general sales only occurring if unclaimed stock remains at specific locations.

What happens next

Applicants can check their status through the official app or the web member portal starting December 1, 2026. Winners are required to present their digital winning screen at the store they selected during the application process to complete the purchase. No cancellations or waitlist requests will be accepted after the lottery is finalized.
